The Los Angeles Kings (7-6-1) have made a habit of high-scoring games. Averaging over three goals for, and against per game the LA Kings have been nothing if not entertaining.

Some of their most entertaining games have come against the Minnesota Wild (5-5-1). The Kings and Wild have combined for 22 goals in their last two games, all offense, no defense.

The Kings beat the Wild on Oct. 15, 7-6 in their only meeting this season.

The LA Kings offense is led by breakout star Gabe Vilardi (9-5-14) and newcomer Kevin Fiala (3-11-14). They're still searching for quality in net, with both Jonathan Quick and Cal Petersen allowing over three goals a game and posting under a .900 save percentage.

The Kings were finally able to practice again, after mandatory off days during a quick central division road trip that gave them no time for on-ice sessions.

“Our last practice was what, over a week ago?” forward Phillip Danault asked himself. “We definitely feel good and obviously after a win too. We want to fix a couple of things, we know we haven’t been bad but we got to be better with system details, things like that. So, it obviously felt good to practice.”

The Wild kicked off a west coast swing last Thursday with a 4-0 loss to the Seattle Kraken. They're led by Russian superstar Kirill Kaprizov (8-5-13) whose made a habit of scoring beautiful goals against the Kings in recent seasons. Particularly, at the expense of Mikey Anderson.

The Wild also need more from their goalies. Marc Andre-Fleury and Filip Gustavsson are allowing more than three goals per game and posting under a .900 save percentage.

This should be a high-scoring affair.
