In the first game of a back-to-back, the Los Angeles Kings take on the Winnipeg Jets Saturday afternoon.

Puck drops at 1:00 PM.

The Kings received some positive injury news on Friday. With Gabe Vilardi returning to practice and taking up his normal spot on the third line. And forward Zack MacEwen taking off the chin guard he's been playing with since joining the team.

Sean Durzi moved into a normal, full-contact jersey Friday and Kevin Fiala joined the group for his first full team practice since his injury.

Between Durzi, Vilardi and Fiala, only Vilardi seems likely to play based on line rushes from Friday.

Joonas Korpisalo is expected between the pipes as Todd McLellan continues the goalie rotation.

The last time these two teams faced off, Anze Kopitar scored four times on route to a shootout win. But that game will be better remembered as Jonathan Quick's last as a King.

The Kings will be looking to keep pace with the Vegas Golden Knights atop the Pacific Division, while the Jets look to stay in the playoff hunt.
